She smiled and nodded as he took the delicate dress she had worked on for about two weeks. She followed him to his car. "Oh, so I' a damsel in distress now?" She asked teasingly. She didn't mind him helping one bit. It was just that she never would have expected someone to so willingly help her out in a city like this.
She watched as he put her dress in the back then looked to the passenger doo as he opened it for him. "True, but I do have to say, Cruentus City may not be the safest place in the world, but I can defend myself very well." She said gently before gliding into the passenger seat.

Vincent caught her tease in her voice, after all, singers were very good at toning their voices, and he listened to a lot of singers. He smiled slightly. "Only if you wish to be referred to as one. I simply mean a young lady who needs assistance when I say it, I mean no offense."
He closed the door as she slid in and opened the back door to hang her dress on the hanger on the roof. He looked at her from the backseat.
"I'm sure many women in this city are sure of that, but I can assure you, there are always monsters who care not how damaged they get, but how damaged they can make their victims." He closed the back door and walked around the back of the car to the driver's side he got in and turned the engine on.
"Seatbelts." He said as he buckled himself in.

She looked at him and smiled sweetly. "I take no offense to it. I'm labeled that to often." She said gently as he closed the door she smirked and watched him.
"I know where you are coming from with all this." She said gently as she reached for the seatbelt and buckeled up. "So, Vincent, isn't it? What brought you and your brother to Cruentus City?" She asked curiously looking at him.

Vincent frowned slightly as she said she was labelled it often. He doubted that would be the most desired life. "Why is that?" He asked looking at her as she buckled her seatbelt on.
He purposely ignored her question though he nodded at his name and started to pull out of the car park

She looked at him and then to her car as they pulled out. "Uh, well gee if you hadn't noticed, I'm not the greatest person when it comes to good luck." She said sweetly looking to him then down at her hands.
She looked back to him after a moment. She noticed that he didn't answer her question, but she wasn't one to pry into peoples lives, so she wasn't going to ask again.

Vincent frowned slightly as he started to drive down the road. Her words seemed to be something that should be said sarcastically.
"Well, if you just want to tell me the street." He said as he looked at the first block they passed. "Just so I don't miss it or anything." He added.

She looked to him and then out the window in thought for a moment. She looked at him when he asked her what rode and she frowned.
"I think, 22nd Avenue. I don't really pay attention that often in all honesty." She said wishing she would pay attention more often. It was many of her very bad habits. She had picked it up when she started to sing on stages. It had kept her from getting distracted most often

Vincent blinked and then glanced at her. She wasn't aware of her own address? "How long have you lived in Cruentus Angie?" He asked politely as he continued to drive, looking for 22nd Avenue on the side streets.
His mind started to wonder to what his brother needed his help for, he'd probably mouthed off to the wrong person, but rare was it an occasion that Rico was the one who needed help in that case.

She looked down at her hands when he asked that. "Uh, several months now." She said looking up at him frowning. "I picked up a bad habit of not paying attention from singing. I just ignor a lot of stuff when I'm up on stage so that I don't get distracted, but I kind of started doing that all the time now." She explained so he would understand it.
"Most of the time, I go by landmarks and stuff like that to get me home. It was like that back in my hometown so it doesn't really bother me that much." She said looking back down at her hands gently

Vincent looked at her briefly with a strange look and then shrugged and looked back to the road. "Alright, so, keep a look out on the road for the landmark you look for and let me know." He said.
He continued to drive and wait for her word on which street was hers.

Vincent looks up as she spoke and slowed down as she told him it was her stop.
He pulled over next to the curb and looked around. "Alright then." He said as he offered her a smile. He killed the engine and got out of the car, first he walked over to her side of the car and opened her door, then he opened the back door and unhooked her dress from the hanger on the roof.
"It was a pleasure to see you sing again Angie, hopefully our paths will cross another time, until then, take care of yourself, and see if you can't change some of that bad luck." He gave her a wink and held her dress for her when she was ready to take it.

She smiled gently and got out as he opened the door. She put her purse over her shoulder and looked to him as he got her dress out. She nodded gently at his statement. "It was a pleasure to see you again too, Vincent, and I believe we will cross paths a few many times in the future too." She said sweetly looking at her dress. "I'm not so sure I'll have any luck getting rid of my bad luck though." She said teasingly as she took her dress from him. "Thanks for the ride." She said sweetly as she walked up to the sidewalk then looked to him.

Vincent smiled and nodded. "You too Angie." He said bowing his head slightly. "I must hurry now to get my brother out of some mess he seems to have gotten himself into." He gave her a wink and walked back around to the driver's side of his car.
He would wait until she was inside before he drove away, it was part of his upbringing, the gentlemanly part of it anyway.

She smiled gently and turned careful not to drag the dress across the ground or trip over the hem for that matter. She tiredly walked to the doors and buzzed the front desk to let her in. She opened the door and walked in as the door unlocked for her, and then she tiredly got the extra key from the front and then made her way up to her apartment.

Vincent watched as she went into the building, he got back into his car and started the engine.
Time to go to Rico and see what trouble his brother had managed to get himself into this time.
